Kingwood Smart Homes recently had the honor of installing a smart home system in the home of Larry Bradley, a Pearland resident living with ALS. In 2015, Larry was diagnosed with ALS and by 2017, two years after his diagnosis, has become confined to his wheelchair and has limited mobility of his arms and hands. The simple task of turning off a light has become almost impossible for Larry, but thanks to his new system from Kingwood Smart Homes, Larry has regained some of his independence in and around his home.
When we first met Larry he took us through his daily routine, explaining some of the challenges he faces in his own home. After surveying his home and the technology he was currently using, we proceeded to combine all of his technology and devices into our first generation system.
